Norwegian pop talent Sigrid unveils “Jellyfish,” an upbeat anthem inspired by instinct and independence.

“Jellyfish” is more than just Sigrid’s newest single — it’s a reawakening. After two acclaimed albums and major global success, the Norwegian artist returns with a sound that feels unfiltered, instinctive, and joyfully odd.

Inspired by indie-pop from her youth and fueled by a watch of Napoleon Dynamite in the studio, the track balances quirky fun with catchy songwriting.

“It’s my slightly more free-spirited and joyous side,” she explains. “Flirting can feel so chaotic and stupid, but that’s the best part of it.”

The single also marks a full-circle moment with Askjell Solstrand, her collaborator on “Dynamite.” This time, their songwriting captures spontaneity rather than solemnity.

The track’s accompanying video enhances the mood — surreal, colorful, and rooted in eccentric charm. “I wanted it to sound carefree, joyful and playful — maybe a bit nonchalant,” Sigrid says.

“Jellyfish” proves that joy can be just as powerful a message as heartbreak.
