MARINA shares single “CUNTISSIMO” and details her sixth album, “PRINCESS OF POWER”, arriving June 6.
With her latest single “CUNTISSIMO,” MARINA steps into a new era—one defined by feminine freedom, emotional autonomy, and cultural boldness. The single lands with the announcement of her sixth studio album, PRINCESS OF POWER, releasing June 6 via Queenie Records/BMG.
“CUNTISSIMO” is, in MARINA’s words, “a love song to independence.” Referencing heroines like Salma Hayek and Thelma & Louise, the song speaks directly to women who are done shrinking themselves to fit into male narratives. “So often, women don’t think they’re allowed to feel their sexuality in a way that doesn’t involve how it looks for men,” she explains. “I would love to be able to free younger women of that.”
A powerful visual accompaniment directed by Olivia de Camps adds cinematic dimension to the message.
“CUNTISSIMO” follows “CUPID’S GIRL” and “BUTTERFLY”—the latter having already drawn over 15 million global streams. Each track builds the foundation for PRINCESS OF POWER, MARINA’s first album since 2022 and one that reclaims creative energy with sharp, unfiltered clarity.
The album rollout will coincide with a major festival run, including performances at World Pride Music Festival, Governors Ball, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Osheaga.
“CUNTISSIMO” is streaming now. MARINA’s PRINCESS OF POWER is available to pre-order on vinyl and CD today.
