UK R&B artist kwn unveils intimate and empowering new single “do what i say,” produced in her bedroom studio.

Rising UK R&B artist kwn (pronounced kay-wuhn) embraces sensuality and self-direction in her latest single “do what i say.” Entirely self-produced, the track highlights her talent not only as a vocalist and songwriter but as a visionary creative force.

“do what i say” glides between vulnerability and power — a slow-burning beat serves as the foundation for lyrics that make no apologies: “paint your nails, the way I like them… say my name.” The chorus — “you gone do what I say” — is a bold declaration of control in both intimacy and artistry.

“I made it in my bedroom during a time I didn’t feel very creative,” says kwn. “I wasn’t trying to overthink it. When I sped it up, it just worked. It’s really about having fun with my pen and seeing how cheeky I could get.”

kwn’s rise has been swift and organic. After the viral success of “worst behaviour” — especially the remix with Kehlani — she became a breakout name. Their music video collaboration amassed over 7 million views and led to kwn joining Kehlani on her European tour dates.
