“Surfacing” is the latest Afro house single from KARABA, closing the chapter before her “Tides” EP arrives June 13.

KARABA, the French-Congolese artist reshaping the boundaries of Afro house, has released “Surfacing,” the final single from her upcoming EP Tides, due June 13 on ONErpm.

With “Surfacing,” KARABA delivers an atmospheric piece rooted in both rhythm and emotion. The track features oceanic samples, meditative drum lines, and Afro house-inspired chants that symbolize emergence and self-realization.

“‘Surfacing’ is the final single of my EP, where everything comes together,” says KARABA. “After the tension and high energy of the journey, it feels like a moment of rebirth and arrival—floating above the water, chanting, and embracing the calm after the storm.”

KARABA’s Tides EP explores themes of identity, fluidity, and transformation, and reflects her background as a dancer-turned-producer who once toured with global icons like Drake and Camila Cabello.
