Devan, an emerging talent in the country and Americana genres, is set to showcase his artistic voice with the release of his debut single “Wyatt Earp” on Friday, April 3rd. This track not only signifies the start of his musical journey but also introduces listeners to a raw and authentic style deeply entrenched in storytelling and heritage.
Hailing from March, Cambridgeshire, Devan identifies as a proud “Fen boy,” which influences his unique perspective within the UK country scene. His upbringing in a family-oriented environment plays a crucial role in both his sound and personal identity. Notably, “Wyatt Earp” marks Devan’s very first experience with songwriting and recording, representing a courageous step into the creative world that he has always cherished. As Devan himself states, “I’ve always loved music, but this is my first time truly stepping into it as my own. It’s a new chapter, and I’m excited for everything that’s ahead.”
The single is already garnering attention, having received airplay on radio shows such as CountryLine Homegrown, hosted by Tim Prottey-Jones. For Devan, the moment he heard his song on the air with his family by his side was profoundly impactful, as he describes it as “a full circle experience.”

Beyond his music career, Devan maintains a dual life as a carpenter and works with Sovereign Quarter Horses in Cambridgeshire. He has previously showcased his talents at the Rockin’ the Country festival, where he is eager to launch his EP later this year.
The foundation of Devan’s songwriting lies in his authentic experiences, heavily influenced by the loss of his grandfather, who was a significant figure in his life and serves as inspiration for forthcoming tracks such as the anticipated “Better Man.” His lyrics often explore themes of resilience, familial bonds, and identity—core values that resonate deeply within his music.
In addition to his musical aspirations, Devan is an avid rugby player with March Bears RUFC and enjoys cold water swimming, embodying a spirit of authenticity that shines through in his artistry. With plans for a debut EP approaching, Devan is poised to make a substantial impact in the UK country and Americana scene, eager to share his story with a broader audience.
