DARUMAS+ is a powerful evolution in the trio’s sound, anchored by funk-driven single “Ex-Cusas”.

One year after their debut introduced the world to their singular blend of Latin funk and global soul, DARUMAS have returned with DARUMAS+, an expanded version of their breakout album that adds eight new tracks and a bold new single: “Ex-Cusas.”

Written as a tongue-in-cheek response to relationship pain, “Ex-Cusas” finds strength in emotional release. “No exes, just excuses,” the band quips—over a swaggering bassline, horns, and a rolling R&B rhythm. The accompanying music video turns heartbreak surreal, transforming pain into color, movement, and art.

DARUMAS+ is full of rich moments—like the disco-infused “Hollywood,” the poignant “No La Llames,” and fan-favorite “Francotirador.” Each track continues the group’s commitment to fusion, story, and self-expression.

Rooted in cultural diversity and unity, DARUMAS blend their backgrounds from Argentina, Haiti/Chile, and Cuba/Miami into a sound that refuses to fit a mold. As Vedala puts it, “We’re three musicians from different parts of the world trying to create something new together.”
