Lady Gaga’s MAYHEM is a bold statement of reinvention, blending pop, rock, and industrial influences. Featuring “Disease” and “Abracadabra.”
Lady Gaga’s latest album, MAYHEM, is more than just a return to pop—it’s a declaration of artistic freedom. Out now, the 14-track project embraces the beauty in chaos, blending industrial beats, electronic textures, and raw, emotive storytelling.
The album, recorded at Shangri-La Studios, features production from Andrew Watt, Cirkut, and Gesaffelstein. Standout singles like “Disease” and “Abracadabra” have already made a major impact. Rolling Stone praised “Disease” for its “classic Gaga shout-along chorus,” while Fader called “Abracadabra” an “electro-pop anthem with a deliciously evil-sounding hook.”
Beyond its sonic complexity, MAYHEM showcases Gaga’s lyrical depth. Songs like “Shadow of a Man” explore resilience in a male-dominated world, while “Blade of Grass” delivers an introspective, heartfelt ballad. The album’s final track, “Die With a Smile,” featuring Bruno Mars, has already shattered streaming records, becoming the fastest song to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify.
In addition to MAYHEM’s release, Gaga has announced a series of major live performances, including Coachella, a stadium show in Mexico City, and a historic free concert at Copacabana Beach. She’ll also be honored with the iHeartRadio Innovator Award on March 17.
With this album, Gaga continues to redefine what it means to be a pop artist, proving that even within chaos, there is beauty, power, and meaning.
