Will Swinton’s “Hold You Again” is a stirring folk-rock anthem from his upcoming EP, December, out Dec. 13.
Will Swinton shares “Hold You Again,” his latest single blending moody folk rock with cinematic Western grit. The track, available now via 10K Projects/Capitol Records, is a preview of his highly anticipated EP, December, releasing on December 13.
With driving rhythms and haunting melodies, “Hold You Again” tells a story of regret and the longing to rekindle lost love. Swinton’s evocative lyrics lay bare his emotional vulnerability: “Maybe it’s what I deserve, for all the lies and all the hurt, but I still gotta try / ’Cause right now more than ever, I just wanna be forever in your eyes.”
The release comes with a live-recorded video directed by Brandon Chen, offering a stark and intimate portrayal of the track’s themes. This video continues a series that includes “Where I Belong” and “Walls,” the latter earning accolades from Rolling Stone and ET.
After the success of “Flames,” which peaked at #9 on the Hot 20 NZ singles chart, Swinton continues to impress with his storytelling and emotional depth.
