Vevo’s short film features three live tracks & a candid interview with Selena and benny.
Vevo has premiered a new Extended Play short film, “I Said I Love You First”, from Selena Gomez and benny blanco. Released through SMG Music/Friends Keep Secrets/Interscope Records, the film features live renditions of “Sunset Blvd,” “Scared of Loving You,” and “How Does It Feel To Be Forgotten.”
Shot entirely in their Los Angeles home, the performances are minimalist, raw, and emotionally rich—echoing the intimacy of the songs themselves. The short film also includes a conversation in their kitchen, where the pair reflects on their collaboration as partners in life and music.
“It’s so easy for us to work together on a project because we speak the same language,” says benny. “You make sure it sounds authentic,” Selena adds.
JP Evangelista, SVP of Content at Vevo, says the short film “gives us not only a glimpse into their relationship, but the story behind their latest album.”
With “I Said I Love You First”, Vevo delivers a full-circle visual experience rooted in love, collaboration, and trust.
