ROXEN transforms her single “Save You” into an alt-electronic anthem about healing and self-liberation.

In her most transformative release to date, ROXEN revisits her recent single “Save You” with an alternative electronic makeover that merges lyrical vulnerability with bold sonic experimentation. “Save You (Play & Pretend),” out now via Universal Music Romania, shifts the track’s emotional intensity into the realm of pulsing club energy—without compromising the truth at its center.

Reflecting on its origins, ROXEN shares, “The song was written in Vienna when I was navigating this period of my life when I used to love without limits. Seeing that it hurt me, I realized that the only person capable of helping me break my bad habits is just me.”

The new version finds catharsis in sound—fusing a heavy synth bassline with four-on-the-floor rhythms. It’s dance music that aches, a personal reckoning reimagined as a physical release. ROXEN’s airy vocals soar and haunt in equal measure, inviting listeners to find their own reflection in the shadows of the beat.

As one of Romania’s most distinctive pop exports, ROXEN has consistently defied genre limits. From her Eurovision debut to viral hits like “Money Money” and “UFO,” she’s built a reputation as both an emotive lyricist and a fearless sonic explorer. With over 200 million views on YouTube and a growing global audience, she continues to turn introspection into art.
