Rosie Darling’s “Roomful Of People” combines emotional honesty with vibrant, playful production.
Rosie Darling has officially released her new EP Roomful Of People through Nettwerk, offering fans a glimpse into a more playful, yet still emotionally resonant phase of her artistry.
Produced by Justin Gammella (FINNEAS, Ashe), the EP’s lead single “It Is What It Is” exemplifies Rosie’s raw and relatable songwriting. “I say, ‘It is what it is,’ because I know what it isn’t,” she sings, acknowledging the clarity that comes from facing hard truths. Rosie explains, “It’s about realizing where you stand with someone.”
While her last project Lanterns was deeply emotional, Roomful Of People brings a more energized, carefree tone. “It’s like a reset for me,” Rosie shares.
Additional tracks such as “Roomful Of People” featuring Jake Scott, “Smoke & Mirrors,” “Joanna,” and “This Is Me Letting Go” showcase Rosie’s ability to navigate vulnerability and empowerment.
Deeply personal yet universally accessible, Roomful Of People cements Rosie Darling as one of indie-pop’s most relatable voices.
