RAYE lands three GRAMMY nominations, including Best New Artist and Songwriter of the Year, solidifying her position as a breakout star.
British artist RAYE has capped off an incredible year with three GRAMMY nominations for the 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards. Her nominations include the prestigious Best New Artist award, with competition from notable talents like Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan.
RAYE’s third nomination for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical, acknowledges her contributions to Lucky Daye’s Algorithm, highlighting her multi-dimensional skills. Earlier this year, RAYE made waves with six BRIT Awards wins, including her groundbreaking achievement as the first female Songwriter of the Year at the BRITs.
In addition, RAYE is nominated for Songwriter of the Year, Non-Classical, a significant honor that recognizes her work with music icons such as Beyoncé and Jennifer Lopez. This historic recognition makes her the first artist to receive nominations in both Best New Artist and Songwriter of the Year categories, cementing her unique role in the industry.
Following standout festival performances at Coachella and Glastonbury, and appearances on Saturday Night Live and The Kelly Clarkson Show, RAYE’s success has been unmatched. The GRAMMY Awards will air live on February 2, 2025, from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
