TDE’s Ray Vaughn drops ‘CEMETERY lanterns,’ a reflective new track ahead of his debut EP, ‘The Good, The Bad & The Dollar Menu.’
Ray Vaughn is making waves once again with his latest single, “CEMETERY lanterns,” now out via Top Dawg Entertainment. Produced by Rayo and Kyu Steed, the track delivers a raw and introspective narrative as Vaughn continues building toward his debut EP, The Good, The Bad & The Dollar Menu, available for pre-save now.
Reflecting on the inspiration behind the song, Vaughn shares:
“Every day, people make choices that lead them down the wrong path, and too often, those stories end the same way. This song is for them.”
Vaughn’s rise has been undeniable, with performances at Ken & Friends and Free Lunch in LA, and his song “Blasphemy” earning a high-profile placement in SZA’s hit film, One of Them Days. His lyricism and stage presence continue to capture attention, as seen in his ongoing rap battle with Joey Bada$$ and collaborations with Isaiah Rashad, Pusha T, and NLE Choppa.
His upcoming EP will highlight his journey from adolescence to artistry, blending humorous storytelling with deeply personal themes, all set to a mix of hard-hitting beats and soulful production.
