Poppy releases the single “New Way Out” and joins Thirty Seconds to Mars on tour this summer. Check out tour dates and listen to the new song!
Acclaimed singer, songwriter, and performance artist Poppy has released her latest single, “New Way Out,” via Sumerian Records. This new track masterfully combines hard-hitting rock with industrial pop, showcasing Poppy’s versatile vocal range from melodic singing to intense screams.
The song’s powerful chorus conveys a message of self-growth and resilience: “cause they push to pull me down, and I’m forced to face who I’ve become, the silence screams so loud, I caught myself before the bottom… I need a new way, give me a new way out.”
The release of “New Way Out” follows Poppy’s successful recent collaborations, including Bad Omens’ “V.A.N,” which is climbing the Active Rock Radio charts, and Knocked Loose’s “Suffocate,” which broke into the top 10 on Spotify’s Viral 50 USA playlist. These collaborations highlight Poppy’s versatility and unique contributions to the music scene.
Poppy’s live performances in 2024 have been remarkable. She began the year by joining Bad Omens on the Concrete Forever Tour across Europe, followed by her own headlining Zig Tour. In March, she supported Avenged Sevenfold on their North American tour. This summer, Poppy will open for Thirty Seconds to Mars on their North American tour.
