Pitbull, NE-YO & AFROJACK release ‘2 The Moon,’ a summer anthem with vibrant beats and infectious energy
GRAMMY Award-winning global superstar Pitbull has teamed up with iconic DJ and producer AFROJACK and R&B legend NE-YO to release a brand new summer hit, “2 The Moon,” featuring DJ Buddha.
Rekindling the magic of their 2011 smash hit “Give Me Everything” [feat. Nayer], which topped charts worldwide, spent 45 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, and joined Spotify’s “Billions Club” with over 1.1 billion streams, the trio aims to capture lightning in a bottle once more. The timeless appeal of “Give Me Everything” was recently reignited with a viral orchestral cover featured in Netflix’s “Bridgerton,” dubbing Pitbull as “Lord Worldwide” and sparking nearly 100,000 TikTok videos.
“2 The Moon” is classic Pitbull. With handclaps driving a tropical groove, boisterous horns, and AFROJACK’s signature production, the track radiates energy and empowerment. Pitbull raps, “I’m married to the hustle what a wife,” while NE-YO delivers an irresistible hook, “So tonight, let’s have some fun until the moon turns into the sun.”
Commenting on the new release, Pitbull said, “‘2 The Moon’ is all about a wild ride, celebrating life, and dreaming big. We wanted to create something that makes you feel unstoppable. The party never ends when NE-YO and I get together. This time we brought back AFROJACK and are going to shoot for the moon.”
Pitbull is also gearing up for his Party After Dark Tour, hitting over 25 U.S. cities with special guest T-Pain and SiriusXM Globalization DJs, with Lil Jon joining in select markets. Following his successful Trilogy Tour with Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin, this tour promises to deliver an electrifying mix of his biggest hits and surprises.
Produced by Live Nation, the 26-city tour kicks off on August 21st at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, VA, and includes stops at venues like Hersheypark Stadium, Forest Hills Stadium, and Isleta Amphitheater before concluding in Albuquerque, NM on October 5th.
Pitbull’s recent releases include Trackhouse and Trackhouse: Daytona 500 Edition, inspired by the NASCAR Cup Series team Trackhouse Racing, which he co-owns. The albums feature guest appearances from Dolly Parton, Tim McGraw, Nile Rodgers, and more.
Through his music and the support of fans worldwide, Pitbull continues to promote the transformative work of SLAM! charter schools, using music to unite and inspire.
