Niko Rubio delivers emotional impact with “Quisiera Saber,” the most vulnerable track from her EP “Ring Ring”.
Niko Rubio’s new single “Quisiera Saber” is a gentle yet powerful song that brings emotional honesty to the forefront. Out now via Atlantic Records, the ballad sets the tone for her upcoming Spanish-language EP Ring Ring, which will be released June 24.
“‘Quisiera Saber’ is the saddest song on the EP,” Rubio notes. “It says, ‘I wish I knew how to help you and take away all the pain, if you would let me.’ I tried to be as vulnerable as possible for this project.”
The EP also includes the lead single “Ring Ring,” which blends jazz-inflected vocals with upbeat guitar rhythms and vibrant brass. It was produced by Lester Mendez and co-written by Mike Rincon and Julian Bernal.
Rubio says this project is a true representation of her growth as an artist. “I wanted to be really honest and real but I try not to take myself too seriously… There’s a song you can dance to, one you can cry to…”
A special live show is set for June 24 at The Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles, marking the EP’s official release.
