Nao has returned with “Happy People,” the vibrant lead single from her forthcoming album, Jupiter, set to release on February 21 via Sony Music UK/RCA Records. The track blends upbeat melodies, textured vocals, and heartfelt lyrics, offering a glimpse of the joy-filled yet introspective sound that defines her next musical chapter.
Co-written with Stint, Yakob, Lauren Keen, and Kareem James, and produced by Stint and Yakob, “Happy People” is a celebration of finding joy in genuine connections. Speaking about the track, Nao shares: “‘Happy People’ is about finding peace, joy and purpose in meaningful connections with those who truly care. It celebrates the strength of relationships and friendships.”
The single follows several recent releases, including the soulful “All of Me” and the nostalgic “Elevate,” which features a euphoric guitar solo. Each track demonstrates the diverse soundscape of Jupiter, from the emotional vulnerability of “Wildflowers” to the energetic grooves of “Happy People.”
