“Love Language” introduces Mimi Webb’s new album “Confessions”, arriving September 12.
Pop artist Mimi Webb has released “Love Language,” the latest single signaling a new direction in her music. Alongside the release, she has announced her sophomore album Confessions, set to arrive September 12 via Epic Records.
“Love Language” introduces a deeper, more vulnerable sound from Mimi, shaped during writing sessions split between Los Angeles and London. The track explores a blend of personal emotion and sonic innovation.
Of the single, she shared: “‘Love Language’ is my first step into this new era and I don’t think I’ve ever been more nervous or excited to share a piece of music. The sound and aesthetic around it is so new and different for me and I can’t wait to bring people along for this new creative journey.”
Fans can expect a new video, directed by Bradley&Pablo, to premiere June 10. The teaser already hints at a fresh visual approach that matches the song’s emotional core.
Mimi’s second full-length project, Confessions, will explore personal identity, emotional truths, and empowerment. “I dug deep and figured out what I want to say not just as an artist, but as a person,” she says. “I decided to be brutally honest. It’s easy to be like, ‘Everything is wonderful’—even when there’s so much happening behind the curtain. I wanted to open up and scream, ‘This is who I am!’.”
The single follows “Mind Reader,” her collaboration with Meghan Trainor, whose vibrant music video highlighted their dynamic partnership.
After a breakthrough year filled with international tours and major festival performances, “Love Language” marks the beginning of Mimi Webb’s most personal and ambitious work to date.
