Award-winning artist and author MARINA continues her triumphant return with “CUPID’S GIRL,” a hypnotic follow-up to her recent single “BUTTERFLY.” The new track arrives as part of her first releases since 2022 and marks the deepening of a new era defined by self-expression and sonic exploration.
With a psychedelic twist on pop, “CUPID’S GIRL” is driven by playful tension and commanding lyricism. “Cupid, you’re so stupid / trying to resist my kiss,” she sings. “Shoot my arrow right into your back.” The line becomes a bold symbol of taking control over love and desire—a hallmark of MARINA’s empowering approach to music.
“BUTTERFLY,” her comeback single, has already surpassed 9 million global streams and was supported by a music video directed by Aerin Moreno, which premiered across MTV and lit up the Paramount Times Square billboards.
