Laura Pieri remixes rage into rhythm in “Daughter of Demeter (ON THE DANCEFLOOR).”

With the release of “Daughter of Demeter (ON THE DANCEFLOOR),” Laura Pieri returns to reimagine one of her most intense tracks. The song introduces a fresh chapter of her Frankie EP, with a full re-release due later this summer.

Originally driven by raw pain, the new remix channels a different kind of strength — one rooted in elegance and ease. “The fury isn’t gone… There’s a defiance in turning pain into pleasure,” Pieri explains. “It lounges in heartbreak with style.”

This latest offering signals an artist deepening her approach, not just sonically but emotionally. “It made me rethink how we process and present emotion,” she says. “Sometimes healing looks like dancing.”

Pieri, born in São Paulo and based between the coasts of the U.S., draws on her cultural heritage and life experience to shape a sound that is personal yet universally felt. Her commitment to honesty and reinvention is evident in every note.
