With “beast,” LALA HAYDEN closes “viva venus”, a pop-forward meditation on modern love and self-empowerment.

LALA HAYDEN has released the final track from her deeply personal new EP viva venus, bringing the journey to a close with the introspective and euphoric “beast.” A London/Barcelona-based artist who blurs the lines between pop, electronica, and self-exploration, LALA delivers a vulnerable perspective in a world often obsessed with perfection.

“I usually exist in the bratty side of performance — it’s comfortable,” she says. “But ‘beast’ felt like the first time I let my guard down. It’s the voice inside your head when you’re not okay — and the strength you find after naming that truth.”

Created alongside Ben Christophers (Bat For Lashes), the EP represents both sonic experimentation and emotional transparency. Inspired by the mythology of Venus, LALA uses the goddess as a modern-day lens through which to view love, power, and identity.

“viva venus is an ode to love in the digital age,” she shares. “There’s a constant search for thrill and novelty — I wanted to explore what it means to find yourself amid that chaos.”

Earlier singles “honeymoon suite,” “rush of love,” and “baby you’re the best!” blend artful production with complex emotional themes — from neglect to transformation — grounded in LALA’s own reflections on womanhood, independence, and intimacy.

Having performed across Eurosonic, The Great Escape, and more, and with growing attention from media and fans alike, LALA HAYDEN closes viva venus with clarity. “beast” is a reminder: vulnerability is not weakness — it’s proof of power.
