“Gnarly” gets two remix makeovers with Ice Spice, Lara, Lancey Foux & Slush Puppy.
Following over 100 million global streams, KATSEYE expands their hit “Gnarly” with two brand-new remixes, each bringing unique dimensions to the breakout single. Released via HYBE x Geffen Records, the tracks mark a celebratory step in the song’s remarkable rise.
The Ice Spice version highlights her signature delivery against a club-ready rhythm, transforming the chaotic pop foundation into something darker and hypnotic. Her verse adds new tension and rhythm to the already genre-bending original.
The second remix brings together Lara of KATSEYE, Lancey Foux, and Slush Puppy. Built around synth-forward production, this version increases the energy while playing with different vocal textures and layered instrumentation. Lancey delivers with polish, and Slush Puppy complements the mix with genre-blurring beats.
“Gnarly” debuted on April 30 as the first track from the upcoming Beautiful Chaos EP. Since then, it’s gained praise for its unpredictable structure and camp energy.
Directed by Cody Critcheloe, the official video captures the vibrant chaos that has helped the track spread so widely online. KATSEYE will also take the stage at the 2025 Kids Choice Awards and currently appear on Teen Vogue’s May-June cover. They recently announced collaborations with Glossier and Urban Outfitters, reinforcing their growing cultural presence.
