Kassidy and Loud collaborate on an emotional remix of “Will I Ever Love Again,” out now via Universal Music Canada.
With the release of a new version of his track “Will I Ever Love Again,” pop artist Kassidy invites listeners deeper into the emotional core of his debut work. Joined by acclaimed Quebec rapper Loud, the updated track is available now via Universal Music Canada and brings a fresh energy to a song already praised for its vulnerability.
“I wrote ‘Will I Ever Love Again’ after a major breakup,” says Kassidy. “It talks about how in my relationship both of us weren’t perfect and there’s a question that asks, ‘Am I ready to love again or will I ever love the same way?’ I feel like a lot of people can relate to it.”
The idea for a collaboration with Loud emerged after he heard the original version and resonated with its message. Their mutual respect quickly developed into a creative partnership. “He’s a great, humble, down to earth human with big talent,” Kassidy adds.
Directed by Andy Ziel, the music video for “Will I Ever Love Again” offers a glimpse into their in-studio collaboration. It also features cameos from Banx & Ranx, Kassidy’s key collaborators and frequent creative partners, known for their GRAMMY and JUNO recognition.
Currently on the road for his 2025 Winter Tour, Kassidy is performing to sold-out audiences, including a highlight show at Ottawa’s Bronson Centre with Jamie Fine.
