“Till I Get To Heaven” is Kalsey Kulyk’s latest single, created with Liz Rose and Phil Barton.
Kalsey Kulyk captures the beauty of living boldly in her latest single “Till I Get To Heaven,” released via Universal Music Canada. Framed as a summer anthem, the track carries an easy charm rooted in the idea of embracing life with courage and freedom.
What makes this release especially meaningful is its backstory. Kulyk wrote the song with Liz Rose—a songwriter whose work she’s admired since her early years.
“When I was 17 years old I heard Taylor Swift on the radio for the first time and then immediately went and bought her first album,” she shares. “The name that was beside all of my favorite songs on that album was ‘Liz Rose.’”
From admiration to collaboration, Kulyk’s persistence paid off. “I don’t know when or how, but one day I’m going to write songs with her.”
That dream became reality during a co-writing session with Rose and Phil Barton, where the concept for “Till I Get To Heaven” blossomed into a track that encourages joy, reflection, and a no-regrets mindset.
Hailing from Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, Kulyk has built a solid foundation in Canada’s country music landscape. Her voice carries the brightness of classic country with a contemporary twist, and her lyrical style strikes an emotional chord.
This song continues her tradition of balancing personal stories with a universal message—an artistic approach that keeps listeners engaged and connected.
