For Iuliano, ‘The Place’ is more than an album title. It represents a destination shaped by years of growth, reflection, and artistic dedication. Set for release in the first quarter of 2026, the project brings together identity, emotion, and immersive sound in what he considers his most introspective work to date.
Born and raised in Napoli, Iuliano experienced music as a constant presence from childhood. Family life was intertwined with melody and rhythm, forming the foundation of his creative instincts. Those instincts were later refined at Berklee College of Music, where formal study expanded his technical range. Living and creating in Malaysia and Thailand further enriched his perspective, adding new textures to his evolving sound.
‘I didn’t decide to follow music—it followed me,’ says Iuliano. ‘Every step I’ve taken has been on my own terms. This project is about reconnecting with something deeper inside.’
That sense of reconnection is central to ‘The Place’. The album reflects an artist who has chosen independence over convention, focusing on uncovering something essential within himself and translating it into cinematic compositions. It is both personal and expansive, intimate yet resonant.
His breakthrough single ‘Who Knows’ drew international acclaim for its haunting atmosphere, marking him as a compelling voice in contemporary independent music. The recognition culminated in 2019 with an Independent Music Award, affirming his creative direction.
With ‘The Place’, Iuliano channels every chapter of his journey into a unified statement. The album stands as a testament to artistic persistence and clarity, offering listeners an authentic expression shaped entirely on his own terms.
