Isabel LaRosa’s “My Girl” tells a heartfelt story of unspoken love through lush alt-pop textures.

“My Girl,” the new single from Isabel LaRosa, is out now via Slumbo Labs and RCA Records. The song sees LaRosa return with an emotionally charged narrative, set against a lush alt-pop arrangement that lingers long after the final note.

Tapping into the vulnerability that defined her debut album Raven, “My Girl” continues Isabel’s exploration of the emotional spaces we try to leave behind—but never quite can.

“My Girl is about wanting someone you know you can’t have, but still not being able to let go of the ‘what if.’ It’s about being unafraid to love loudly even if there are consequences. It’s very special to me because it’s a part of my identity that I’ve never shared before,” Isabel shared.

Following the release of Raven—praised for its cinematic feel and confessional tone—Isabel’s artistry has deepened further. Her ability to translate emotional nuance into sound has become a defining trait, as showcased in her short film featuring Ethan Cutkosky.
