Country singer-songwriter Hannah McFarland unveils her latest project, the Broken Hearts EP, a deeply emotional collection of songs that explore the complexities of love, loss, and redemption. Released via The Core Records/Capitol Records, the EP features poignant lyricism and heartfelt melodies that highlight McFarland’s signature warm, powerful vocal delivery.
The standout track, “Whiskey Into Water,” is an achingly honest ballad that tells the story of watching a loved one battle self-destruction and feeling powerless to help. With its haunting piano melodies and stirring pedal steel accents, the song encapsulates the pain of loving someone who is beyond saving.
McFarland explains, “I’ve always been someone who wants to help people, but sometimes, all you can do is let go and hope for the best.”
Produced by Will Bundy (Keith Urban, Kameron Marlowe), Broken Hearts also includes the widely praised “Hey Highway,” which gained support on SiriusXM’s On The Horizon, and “The Bed I Made”, a viral success that led to her record and publishing deals.
McFarland is set to take Broken Hearts on tour, joining Dylan Marlowe and Conner Smith this spring, with additional stops at major festivals such as Country Jam and Boots and Hearts.
