“Rico Cantidad” showcases Gente de Zona’s uplifting sound and cultural mission ahead of their next album.

With 25 years of success behind them, Gente de Zona are still making music that uplifts and inspires. Their latest single, “Rico Cantidad,” arrives in collaboration with Reparto artists Dale Pututi and L Kimii, and it’s more than a song—it’s a message of joy, confidence, and celebration.

Set to appear on their forthcoming album Reparto by Gente de Zona (due in May), “Rico Cantidad” reinforces the duo’s commitment to amplifying Cuban music and community. “‘Rico Cantidad’ is more than just a track—it’s a state of mind that embodies confidence, freedom, style, and self-assurance,” say Randy Malcom and Alexander Delgado. “It’s an attitude, an unstoppable energy, a sense of success, and feeling great about yourself.”

The music video enhances this spirit, with a lively office scene channeling The Wolf of Wall Street. A cast of people of all races, body types, and identities claim their space with confidence, celebrating the idea that beauty and success come in many forms.

Over the past year, Gente de Zona has steadily released singles like “La Conga,” “Cosas Bonitas,” and “Se Trata,” each hinting at the full scope of their next project. “Rico Cantidad” offers a high point of joy and reflection.
