On her latest release, FLETCHER explores emotional rebirth with stripped-back production and power vocals.
Known for fearless storytelling, FLETCHER has released Would You Still Love Me If You Really Knew Me?, her newest LP on Capitol Records. It’s a project built around introspection, and it starts with the single “Hi, Everyone Leave Please.”
A raw yet melodic piece, the song flows with textured emotion. In her words:
“‘Hi, Everyone Leave Please’ is a song that has been living inside of me for a long time.”
Throughout the album, co-produced with Jennifer Decilveo, FLETCHER trades polished pop aesthetics for minimalist instrumentals and open-hearted lyrics.
She doesn’t shy away from exploring the pressures of visibility and artistry. On “Don’t Tempt Me…” she reflects:
“…within the context of the very toxic relationship between me and the music industry. Should I stay or should I go…”
Elsewhere, “Congratulations!” centers the idea of letting go of public applause in favor of self-validation.
This project isn’t just another record — it’s a statement of self-recognition, driven by FLETCHER’s voice and purpose.
