FINNEAS unveils “2001” video, directed by Claudia Sulewski and starring Kate Hudson. Visual ode to Kubrick’s classic.
Multiple GRAMMY® and Academy Award-winning artist FINNEAS has released the official video for “2001”, a fan favorite from For Cryin’ Out Loud! [Interscope Records]. Directed by Claudia Sulewski and co-starring Kate Hudson, the video takes inspiration from 2001: A Space Odyssey, blending sci-fi nods with lighthearted behind-the-scenes storytelling.
“When I first started conceptualizing this music video, I knew I wanted to pay homage to 2001: A Space Odyssey… I wanted to mix in some light, cheeky moments between Finneas and Kate,” Sulewski shared.
This release follows a successful international tour and FINNEAS’ scoring debut for Alfonso Cuarón’s Apple TV+ series Disclaimer.
This summer, FINNEAS and his band will perform at top festivals in Europe, followed by Osheaga, Lollapalooza, and Outside Lands in North America.
