Fetty Wap reflects on legacy and hardship in new single “Forever (71943509),” out now.

Fetty Wap makes his return with “Forever (71943509),” an emotional new release that marks his first official solo track in over two years. Out via RGF Productions / 300 Entertainment, the single is accompanied by a visually striking music video and powerful backstory.

The title references Fetty’s current inmate number at FCI Sandstone, Minnesota, where he is serving a six-year federal sentence. In support of the artist, his family has launched a Change.org petition calling for a pardon.

In the midst of this, Fetty Wap’s 2015 hit “Again” has resurged thanks to the viral TikTok trend “Blasting Fetty Wap on the JBL Speaker,” leading to the track’s re-entry on the Billboard Hot 100 and reviving his debut album Fetty Wap on the Billboard 200.

A GRAMMY®-nominated and Diamond-certified talent, Fetty Wap first broke records with “Trap Queen,” “My Way,” and “679.” He made Billboard history with four Top 10 Hot Rap Songs entries right out of the gate—an unprecedented feat.
