EthanUno unveils his debut EP, necesidad, a project that blends hyperpop, glitchy beats, and Latin R&B, out now via Friends Keep Secrets/Interscope. This self-produced collection of songs delivers a raw yet futuristic take on love and self-reflection.
A standout track, “las mañanas”, captures the EP’s signature blend of bittersweet storytelling and dynamic production. EthanUno’s pitched-up vocals float over digital blips and jittery percussion, with the lyrics: “Wish that I could tell you, all the hell I went through / Just for you to mess it up, and say you never meant to.”
Discussing his journey, EthanUno shares:
