‘CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ’ arrives on Monstercat with “Amsterdam”, Don Diablo’s tribute to his home city.
Don Diablo begins a powerful new phase in his music career with the launch of CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ and its debut track “Amsterdam”. Released on Monstercat, the single embraces raw emotion and club-focused energy in equal measure.
This release follows a sold-out North American tour that brought Don Diablo to fans across the continent, from Los Angeles to New York. Now, with CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ, he offers something stylistically distinct.
“Amsterdam” combines cinematic soundscapes with distorted vocals and heavy bass-driven elements. It’s a personal piece, reflecting Don Diablo’s love for the city where he grew up.
He stated, “I’ve always been a big fan of Monstercat, so releasing my first CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ record with them feels like the perfect match. This project has become one of the most exciting journeys for me creatively this year. This new track is called ‘Amsterdam,’ it’s high energy, emotional, and a heartfelt tribute to the city I grew up in and still deeply love. Honestly, this might be my favorite CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ record so far.”
In support of the single, Don will perform at Paradiso in Amsterdam on September 19, returning to the city for the first time since 2018. This performance will serve as both a celebration and a reconnection with his origins.
Amid an already full year, including his HEXAGON anniversary and new global collaborations, CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ becomes a unique outlet for creative expansion.
