David Guetta and Cedric Gervais release ‘A Better World’, merging soulful disco with a modern French house flair.
David Guetta and Cedric Gervais deliver a powerful new collaboration with A Better World, available now on all platforms. The track revives the feel-good energy of 70s disco with a contemporary twist, combining reinterpreted live instrumentation and fresh vocals.
This latest release taps directly into their musical upbringing in the French house scene. “I’m very proud of this record we did with David,” Cedric Gervais shared. “It comes back to our musical roots—being French, I grew up with French house: DJ Falcon, Cassius, Daft Punk, and many more incredible artists. That’s what we wanted to do with this record: bring back that sound!”
A Better World brings a sense of nostalgia to today’s dance music audience, echoing their early club residencies in Paris and Marseille. It also continues their collaborative streak, following 2016’s Would I Lie to You and 2023’s Switch.
Beyond the studio, Gervais has released several standout singles this year, including Bad Girl and Feel Better, and performed at renowned venues like Marquee Vegas and Cavo Paradiso. Guetta continues to dominate globally, with Ibiza residencies at Ushuaïa and UNVRS, and appearances at major festivals and stadiums, including Orange Vélodrome.
A Better World is a celebration of the sound that shaped them—and a soundtrack for the summer ahead.
