D’n’B heavyweights Danny Byrd, Sigma, and BassLayerz remix “Superstylin’” with vocals from MC $pyda.
Groove Armada’s genre-defining track “Superstylin’” gets a fresh new interpretation courtesy of drum and bass titans Danny Byrd, Sigma, and BassLayerz. The remix—featuring updated vocals from MC $pyda and Blu Bomma—breathes new life into a song that helped shape the fabric of early-2000s dance music.
Nearly 100 million Spotify streams and more than 40 million video views later, the original “Superstylin’” remains a cultural staple. The new version builds on its legacy, fusing high-speed breaks, bold basslines, and rapid-fire MC flows for a remix crafted with intention and impact.
Danny Byrd, known for his work on Hospital Records and revered tracks like “Sweet Harmony,” brings his signature polish to the project. Sigma, no stranger to chart success with tracks like “Changing” ft. Paloma Faith, adds their melodic precision, while BassLayerz inject their high-octane performance style into the remix.
In support of the track, a pop-up event will take place in Bristol on April 3rd, featuring all contributing artists. The night will be recorded and shared as a full audiovisual experience.
The remix’s official TikTok sound is also live now, kicking off a larger social media campaign in the weeks to come.
Out now this version of “Superstylin’” bridges old and new, reminding fans why the original mattered—and why the remix demands to be heard on full volume.
