“Alive” by Damian Lazarus fuses emotion, melody, and mood in a standout collaboration with Bloom Twins.
Damian Lazarus adds another layer to his ever-expanding discography with the release of “Alive,” a deeply reflective and musically rich collaboration with Bloom Twins. Released via Crosstown Rebels, the single continues the artistic momentum of Lazarus’ recent album Magickal, which arrived earlier this year with a surprise drop at Day Zero 2025.
Known for his ability to weave narrative and sonics into multidimensional experiences, Lazarus brings in dark-pop duo Bloom Twins for a song that delicately balances depth with drive. Their vocals lend a dreamlike quality, floating above a textured arrangement shaped by additional production from Mark Ralph—best known for his past work on Lazarus’ debut LP Smoke The Monster Out.
The track’s introspective energy makes it both intimate and expansive. It’s a sound that feels unmistakably Damian Lazarus: bold, boundaryless, and hauntingly beautiful.
The release is further enhanced by a remix from Canadian DJ Nick Morgan, whose contribution delivers a more kinetic, late-night reinterpretation. Following his 2024 remix of AIRRICA’s “Hi Speed Lover,” Morgan once again affirms his place within the Crosstown Rebels family.
“Alive” is a testament to the emotional resonance Lazarus consistently brings to the electronic space. Through collaboration and artistic risk, he continues to craft music that connects—not just on the dancefloor, but far beyond it.
