GRAMMY-winning R&B star Coco Jones announces debut album Why Not More?, dropping April 25, and shares new track “Taste.”
GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter Coco Jones is kicking off 2025 in a major way with the announcement of her debut album, Why Not More?, set to be released April 25 via High Standardz/Def Jam Recordings. The highly anticipated project will include previously released tracks, such as the GRAMMY-nominated Here We Go (Uh-Oh), along with Most Beautiful Design and Sweep It Up.
To mark the occasion, Coco has also released her latest single, Taste, along with an official music video. Produced by Stargate and Jasper Harris, the track transforms Britney Spears’ Toxic into a seductive R&B anthem, with Coco’s smooth vocals elevating its hypnotic melody. The music video, directed by Ava Rikki, showcases Coco in a new light—confident, poised, and fully embracing her artistry.
Though this marks her first full-length album, Coco has already made an undeniable impact in the music industry. With seven GRAMMY nominations to her name, including five in 2024, she won Best R&B Performance for ICU and landed a MTV VMA nomination for MTV Push Performance of the Year. Most recently, she earned two more GRAMMY nods at the 2025 awards, reinforcing her unstoppable momentum.
As Coco embarks on this new era, Why Not More? is set to showcase her growth, artistry, and unmatched talent, further solidifying her as one of R&B’s brightest stars.
