Cian Ducrot releases his newest single “Shalalala,” an anthem of perseverance that offers listeners a hopeful message during challenging times. With his second full-length project Little Dreaming arriving July 11, the singer-songwriter once again brings heartfelt honesty to his music.
“Shalalala” was written with a team of acclaimed collaborators including Anton Göransson, Isabella Sjöstrand, Bill Maybury, and Theo Hutchcraft, and is produced by Ducrot and Göransson. Vocal production duties were shared with Sjöstrand.
“This song is about hope and solidarity in times where the world feels like it needs it most,” says Ducrot. “…so let’s come together and let us sing together SHALALALA.”
The single’s dynamic structure and emotional weight set the tone for Little Dreaming, a body of work that blends the emotive storytelling Ducrot is known for with a sonically rich palette influenced by classic icons.
