“shoreline” captures the raw emotions of heartbreak with poignant lyrics like: “You’re still so mean and sweet at the same time / left me alone on the shoreline / washed up and waiting at high tide.” With its wistful melodies and pulsing rhythm, the track explores vulnerability and personal growth.
Chloe shared her thoughts about the song, saying: “‘shoreline’ is very near and dear to my heart. It encapsulates a lot of the feelings that came from my first big breakup, and I poured a lot of myself into it. I hope it’s gently loved ♡.”
Accompanying the single is an official visualizer, now streaming on Chloe’s YouTube channel. The artist also announced a headline North American tour set to begin April 25 in her hometown of Detroit at El Club.
