British-Indian singer and saxophonist Charlie Jeer releases “Sun Is Gone,” reflecting personal growth.
Emerging as a powerful voice in the UK music scene, Charlie Jeer has released “Sun Is Gone,” his latest single blending lyrical depth with rich instrumentation. Co-written with Ben Stancombe, the song marks a shift toward a more introspective direction for Jeer, with saxophone and vocals delivered by the artist himself.
“The last few years of life have been both defining and overwhelming for me…” Jeer notes, explaining the context behind the emotional songwriting. “Sun Is Gone” follows “Her Eyes” and “Nobody,” tracks that began carving out Jeer’s musical identity. The remix of “Nobody” by Bloody Civilian introduced him to even wider audiences.
