Grammy-winning Cam explores collective grief in her new single “Everblue.”
Cam returns with “Everblue,” a track rich in emotional intelligence and artistic honesty. The Grammy-winning artist calls it “peak sad girl,” and it’s an apt label for a song that gently embraces collective sadness without sinking into despair.
“When I sing this song it’s a way of holding space for that heartbreak instead of going numb or giving up on dreaming,” she shares.
The track is co-written with Aldae and Tyler Johnson and features a visually poetic video by James Mackel. Together, they shape a space where quiet pain and spiritual resilience coexist.
This leads into All Things Light, Cam’s third studio album, landing July 18. Built during her time in early motherhood and pandemic isolation, the album wrestles with questions of identity, legacy, and love.
It’s also a collaboration-rich project, featuring work by Starrah, Michael Uzowuru, and Jeff Bhasker, blending country, folk, pop, and experimental elements.
Cam isn’t just singing about sadness—she’s offering an invitation to sit with it, learn from it, and emerge with light.
