Debut EP ‘Change of Plans’ by Ally Salort explores heartbreak and growth through alt-pop.
With Change of Plans, Ally Salort opens a new chapter—one filled with personal reflection, resilience, and musical storytelling. Out today via Disruptor Records/RCA Records, the EP delivers an emotionally resonant alt-pop experience from a compelling new voice.
Comprised of six tracks, including “Pretty Face,” “Before & After,” and “Tattoo (Selective Memory),” the project features a mix of previously released material and refined versions of “Swiss Army Knife” and “Any Way I Can.”
Ally describes the journey behind the music: “‘Change of Plans’ felt like the perfect title to describe the emotional detour this project takes you through…”
That detour reveals a world of late-night questions and long-awaited answers. Her songwriting speaks to the transitional moments that define early adulthood, and the EP serves as both confessional and catharsis.
To commemorate the launch, Ally will headline two shows this August and take the stage at Austin City Limits this October—an exciting leap for the debut artist.
