Tranquility Base Vol. 2 by Above & Beyond features five tracks blending trance, acid, and breakbeat. Available now.

Above & Beyond have released Tranquility Base Vol. 2, the latest in their EP series honoring the legacy of their beloved Tranquility Base alias. This five-track project, out now on Anjunabeats, captures the trio’s signature sound while exploring new creative territories.

The EP follows the success of Tranquility Base Vol. 1, which featured Beatport Trance chart-toppers “Angry JP8” and “500.” Tranquility Base Vol. 2 includes previously released singles “React,” a bass-heavy anthem, and “Another Breakdown,” a euphoric track that channels Above & Beyond’s trance roots.

Three additional tracks complete the collection: “Hackney Siren,” which fuses trance, acid, and breakbeat with nostalgic piano chords; “From Grey To Light,” an experimental production with layered acid basslines; and “Chasing Highs,” a throwback to the vibrant energy of early 2000s trance.

Above & Beyond debuted these tracks at high-profile events such as Group Therapy 600 in Mexico City and Dreamstate SoCal, earning praise from fans and critics alike. The EP reflects their continued commitment to innovation and their mastery of creating music that resonates on the dancefloor.
