Mariah The Scientist unveils “Is It A Crime,” her emotional new single featuring Kali Uchis. It arrives as the second release from her forthcoming album HEARTS SOLD SEPARATELY, out August 22.
The production, helmed by Matt1k and Nineteen85, gives the track a deeply romantic and moody atmosphere. The lyrics offer a striking portrayal of modern vulnerability.

Following the success of “Burning Blue,” Mariah continues to solidify her place in the R&B space, backed by major milestones including her induction into The Recording Academy’s 2025 class and recognition from Rihanna herself.
This month, she will perform at Lollapalooza, host a fan-exclusive event at The Vic Theatre, and speak at ENVSN Festival in New York.
