Rema captures the spirit of childhood parties in his vibrant new track “Kelebu.”

Rema dives into personal history with the release of “Kelebu,” a pulsating single that channels the rhythms of his formative years. Produced by London, the track pulses with dancefloor energy and vibrant cultural callbacks.

Coinciding with the anniversary of HEIS, “Kelebu” signals both a tribute to the past and a promise for what’s next. It’s a track crafted for movement—raw, rhythmic, and designed to ignite crowds from Lagos to London.

“Growing up, I didn’t have a phone to create my music taste, my household had different music tastes, I listened to what everybody played. In school parties, we used to dance to a lot of Caribbean and Francophone bounces. We didn’t care about what they were saying because most of them were not even in our local language in Nigeria. They just kept repeating one word with a fantastic instrumental backing it up, and we all danced. Making music now, I’m reliving those moments by expressing it with my art,” says Rema.

Having just appeared at Wireless alongside Drake, Rema continues to expand his musical identity while remaining rooted in authentic storytelling.
