G Flip previews ‘Dream Ride’ with “In Another Life,” an introspective single rooted in retro pop energy.
G Flip has entered a new era with the announcement of Dream Ride, their third studio album, coming September 5. Accompanying the news is the release of “In Another Life,” a song shaped by longing, personal growth, and vintage 80s flavor.
“In Another Life” builds an immersive soundscape, balancing raw lyricism with textured production—ideal for moments of reflection or release. The track offers the first taste of the dreamlike world G Flip is curating.
They explain the concept behind the album: “When diving in and writing this record, I was sonically captivated by the 80’s… I also really wanted to make a world to accompany the music and storytelling.”
Co-produced with Aidan Hogg and entirely performed by G Flip, Dream Ride channels classic influences into a modern framework. The single is part of a collection that includes fan-favorites “Big Ol’ Hammer” and “Disco Cowgirl.”
