SG Lewis announces ‘Anemoia’, drops “Sugar” with Shygirl, and reveals fall tour plans.
With the release of his latest single “Sugar,” UK-born producer SG Lewis revisits his solo artistry in a big way. The track, featuring Shygirl, arrives as the first preview of his third studio album, Anemoia, due out September 5 via Forever Days/Astralwerks.
Reuniting after their streaming hit “mr useless,” the duo’s new offering is every bit as enticing — smooth, sensual, and made for long summer nights. The track leans into a blissful sonic palette while nodding to timeless club culture.
SG Lewis shares, “When I discovered the word Anemoia, it articulated a feeling I’d struggled to describe for so long…”
The project pays homage to past eras of electronic music while staying rooted in the now. Lewis’s production is influenced by trance, Balearic house, and 2000s electronica, shaped by recent time spent in Ibiza.
“Even its quieter moments are shaped by Balearic sounds… I want Anemoia to be a soundtrack to living in the present — to creating the kind of moments that others might one day feel nostalgic for,” he says.
With a fall North American tour also announced, SG Lewis is ready to bring this new vision directly to audiences.
