“Burning Bridges” explores healing and honesty in EMMMA’s latest introspective alt-pop release.

With “Burning Bridges,” alt-pop artist EMMMA shares a new chapter in her musical evolution. This latest track explores the emotional push-pull of self-blame, realization, and healing.

Set against shadowy synths and an energetic chorus, the song conveys the rush of escape alongside the burden of reflection. There’s no regret here—just clarity. EMMMA says: “It’s actually OK to burn a few bridges – it can be a way of healing.”

The song was co-written with longtime collaborator Ben Wylen and songwriter Andrea Rosario and shows continued growth from her Secondary Character EP, where identity and self-worth were central themes.

Now, EMMMA reflects on what happens after identity is reclaimed—how one confronts the residue of difficult choices.
