Duke Dumont’s “I Need You Now” bridges emotional depth and club energy ahead of Union.

Known for bringing storytelling into the heart of electronic music, Duke Dumont’s latest single “I Need You Now” carries an emotional charge rarely found in the genre. Released in advance of his next album Union, the track is a welcome return to form.

Built on lush synth work and a steady four-on-the-floor beat, the single is a moving, late-night plea wrapped in the rhythm of house. Dumont’s ability to shape narrative arcs within his songs is once again on display.

With Union, set for a July 25 release, Dumont steps further into the conceptual world first hinted at in Duality. The new record celebrates connection—between people, within music, and across dancefloors.

This summer, Dumont hits key stages across Europe and North America. Following his high-impact 2022 Coachella set, he’ll return to London and Manchester in October for two already sold-out headline shows.
