In her new release “George F****** Strait,” Laci Kaye Booth honors timeless love through the lens of country heritage.
Laci Kaye Booth’s latest single, “George F****** Strait,” is a poignant exploration of aging love, idol worship, and country tradition. Dropping the day before her CMA Fest performance, the Geffen Records release adds another emotionally grounded song to Booth’s growing catalog.
A co-write with Melissa Fuller and Anderson East, and produced by East and Ben West, the track carries an intimacy that’s rooted in Booth’s upbringing and musical firsts.
“My very first concert was George Strait… This song is about admiring and loving a cowboy as he ages,” Booth shares.
The accompanying video, directed by Natalie Sakstrup, brings the storytelling full circle, creating a moody, atmospheric visual that amplifies the song’s emotional gravity.
Booth will be performing at various events this summer, from major festivals in Canada to support dates with Parker McCollum. As her touring schedule builds, so does the anticipation for what’s next in her evolving career.
